Privacy Policy

Short version: Beararoo collects nothing. There are no accounts, no tracking, no ads, and no servers we send your information to. Everything the app remembers (stars, daily routine progress, whether you've unlocked Plus) lives only on your device.

Data we collect

None. Beararoo does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you or your child. The app does not ask for a name, email, age, account, or any sign-in.

What's stored on your device

The app saves a small amount of information locally on the device, in standard app storage, so it can remember things between sessions:

Your cumulative star count.
Today's daily routine checkmarks (which reset automatically each new day).
Whether Beararoo Plus has been unlocked on this device (one-time purchase or promo code).
Basic app preferences.

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling Beararoo erases it.

Analytics and tracking

None. Beararoo does not use any analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, crash-reporting tools, or third-party tracking. The app does not request the App Tracking Transparency permission because there is nothing to track.

Advertising

Beararoo contains no advertising of any kind.

In-app purchases

Beararoo offers one optional one-time purchase, "Beararoo Plus" ($4.99), which unlocks additional sounds, games, and the daily routine tracker. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store and a service called RevenueCat, which verifies the purchase. We do not see, store, or receive your name, email, billing details, Apple ID, or payment information. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier so it can recognize a restored purchase on the same device. Their handling of that identifier is governed by their privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Beararoo is designed to be safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, it does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or any age). There are no chat features, no social features, no user-generated content, and no links to external sites inside the app experience.

Third-party services

The only third-party service Beararoo interacts with is Apple's StoreKit (via RevenueCat) for in-app purchases, and only when you tap the purchase or restore button. The app does not contact any other servers during normal use.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Because Beararoo doesn't collect contact information, we can't notify users individually — please check back here.
